Winter so far has been very cold, especially the evenings. We’ve been following the news closely about the weather and it was reported that it has so far been the coldest winter in 80 years. We are grateful that we’ve been able to buy blankets in South Africa and hot water bottles to keep warm.
These past weeks have been very up and down, emotionally and spiritually.
A stomach bug hit Maputo and seemed to hit children especially under five. A lot of children in our church and Issachar were very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. Issachar was sick for almost three weeks. After several visits to hospital, clinics and a private clinic in town and sleep-less nights the tests results was negative for everything. So the doctor treated him for worms and parasites and within a few days he got better.
We just want to thank everyone for all your prayers and words of encouragement.
Felito also had malaria and Paulina had the stomach bug also, but thankfully after much prayer and medicine both are doing well.
We have been travelling up and down between Maputo and Chibuto. The three hour drive has become boring and tedious, though we are thoroughly loving our time up in Chibuto and falling more and more in love with the area and people.
We have started a women’s meeting once a week and its so exciting to see them grow. Felito also has been very involved with meeting with various Chiefs so we are able to do more outreaches and its been very positive so far.

We have started to visit the kids that will be eventually moving into the House of Hope. Each child has a story and so far all are heart-breaking.
The construction of the houses have really slowed due to lack of funding…can you please prayerfully consider partnering with us to complete the houses so the kids can come and be part of a family.
Please contact us on how to donate and be apart of rescuing this generation and showing the Love of Jesus.
